I just went for a drive without my windscreen. (It's waiting for its glue to dry from the Rick's mod.) For those of us who live in the lower atmosphere (as opposed to Woodyandy's 6'6" high altitude), the wind hits me in the right side of my head so even the stock screen is of some benefit. If you had a passenger, they would get the same on their left ear making conversation difficult. I can't wait to see the effects once the full screen is in place. Once I get it on, my cabin turbulence mods (roll hoop inserts, Davies headrests, Rick's windscreen) will be complete and I'll give a report as to how it all comes together.

Thanks guys, but I will hang on to the thing. I still have the wind deflector for my Fiero's moon roof although I've never (ok, once) used it. The aeroscreen (Jeeeesh! I even hate the name!) is doing an equally good job with the wind in the hall closet right now. I'm real big on keeping things stock, so will hang on to it. As for why it doesn't work for me, let's get this cleared up once and for all. Size DOES matter.

I'm 6'2, and the windscreen doesn't do anything for me, either. Personally, I don't mind, though. When I'm driving, I like the wind in my face (it hits my whole face, not just the right side), and I drive to DRIVE, not to TALK. If my passenger wants conversation, let them bring along a cell phone

I switched to Rick's 7/8th size and it is a serious improvement. Still messes the crap out of womens' hair but my right ear doesn't freeze in cold top-down driving any more.

woodyandy Thanks to all. It's a done deal. Noticed not an iota of difference in air flow with it off. Now that it doesn't have that WTF afterthought gimmick sitting up there for all to see and question, it looks much cleaner. Picked up two plastic deals for the screw holes for $0.94 each and voil
