Default hazard lights blink when going through a turn

I just picked up my 2000 S2000 two weeks ago and haven't driven it much since buying it.
I have noticed on two separate occasions when making a left turn, both turn signals will blink (like the hazard lights are turned on) until the steering wheel straightens out.
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so what is the fix?

I used to hit the hazard button a couple of times during shifting when I first got my AP1. I have since then stopped.

The OP says that it corrects itself as soon as he straightens the wheel coming out of the turn, so it does not sound like this is the same problem.

It truly is weird. Since you live in W. Sacramento, I would suggest going to Mel Rapton Honda, and ask for Mike. He may be able to help you out.

Also, maybe post this up in the Sacramento forums located here:

We have some knowledgeable people that may be able to help you out as well.

Good luck with everything.

Thanks! I will head over to MR Honda and chat with Mike. I don't think I am hitting the hazard switch.
It happened again tonight while on the connector ramp from E/B Cap City Fwy to N/B I-5.
