Headlight Aiming, Correct?
My new 05 S has a weird light picture. The left headlight seems like it has a blinder on--a very sharp cutoff. You can see the black area above the light clearly; much more radical than the right side. How do I tell if this is normal? Seems like CID headlights should light up more road than this. Note, in the garage with the lights on the wall, both make a nice horizontal line. But outside in the distance is where they change.
I think there is some info on the headlights in the S2KI library, some of which was taken from my personal web site (now mostly gone). I moved much of it to modifry.com but it's not all available to the public (i.e. I don't have obvious links to it).
Here the link to my headlight page that may give you some info, scroll to the bottom of the page.

The left headlight is suppose to point lower than the right so that you do not blind oncoming traffic with your HIDs. Its perfectly normal.
It's normal.
