Default headlight problem

so i just converted my AP1 headlights the AP2 headlights. the thing is...the right headlight projects the light correctly. the left headlight sort of is projecting a blob of light rather than the straight line of light. u can sort of see the step...but its all blobby and distorted.

im thinking that maybe the bulb wasnt seated correctly in the projector. id rather not have to take off the bumper and headlight again. is the rear HID bulb mount accessible by pulling taking the tire off and pulling back the fenderwell trim?

also...does anyone know what size torx screwdriver i need to unscrew the the torx screw to remove the grey cover on the back of the housing?

Hmm could be the bulb not seated properly or perhaps that piece inside the projector is not tightened correctly.

Still have your AP1 lights? send me a PM if you do. please
