Heat near e-brake?
This is probably not a problem, but I wanted to see if others have this too...
One day this week while driving I rested my hand on the e-brake near where it goes into the tunnel and noticed that is was pretty hot.
It makes sense since it's summer and the exhaust pipe runs under this area. I was just surprised at how hot it was and that some warm air was coming in through this area. Maybe in the winter (have only had the car since May) I will feel cold air coming through there.
What's your experience?

My experience is that the cupholder is only good for holding cups that have coffee, hot chocolate, or any other hot drink. Put a glass of ice water in that cupholder and it'll start to pretty much boil after 30 minutes of normal driving.
BTW, that means the "hot e-brake" is normal. You're feeling the heat from the transmission and exhaust.
