Default Heat Shield Removal

Hello everyone,

I am having trouble to remove the heat shield for the engine torque damper installation. I remove the three screws up closer to the front end of the car but the heat shield is still stuck? Seems like something is holding it on the firewall?

Thanks

if it's not tightened too much i found you can just pull the heat shield UP off of that one because it's not completely bolted in, it's kind of like an upside down U that locks onto a bolt...so i think they designed it with this method in mind.

when i reinstalled it i just put that part of the heat shield on first by sliding it down behind the nut, then i tightened in the others and worked fine!
