It's normal to have a little shifter shake but not excessive. I would say get your motor mounts, trans mounts, and diff mounts replaced.

you checked engine movement? explain...better yet dont, i know what you did and you didn't test anything. The engine is heavy, by you trying to "shake" the engine you will not be able to tell if you have a broken motor mount or not.

Get your car up in the air and look at the rubber engine mounts, look specifically at the top side of them from under the car. you will be able to tell if they are broken. it's common for them to break

you don't need a lift, you just need a jack and some jack stands. If you don't have any, dont want to buy any or don't have a friend with any then you need to take it to a shop.

then i will jack it up and check the mounts. although i can tell you that the tires being bald and the car having a aftermarket raditor makes me believe it was boosted before -_- aka meaning wouldn't suprize me if it was motor mounts that are gone.

it's common for them to break and you can get them for about ~$50 bucks a piece used vs $150 at the dealer

just because your car has an aftermarket radiator is no indication of it being boosted, plenty of na cars have an aftermarket radiator. There are more obvious signs to tell if the car was boosted, like a capped off oil feed line, or signs from an intercooler being mounted

well wouldn't it be smart just to save a little cash and get the innovative motor and trans mounts that are 60 duros ?

ok update: finally got the car on a left to check things out. looks like diff mounts are good no leaks or tears. also transmission mounts are good as well. checked them both. then took apart the shift boot and all the plastic around the shifter and everything checked out there as well. any other ideas of why this would be happening?

I would be more worried about the bald tires at this point than anything else
