Do what Chuck said. If, when the car is off but in gear, you cant move it when the clutch is depressed, then need to determine the issue with the clutch. In that case, get under the car (on stands, safely of course) and get to where you can see the slave cylinder boot. You can pull the boot back or just feel it when someone depresses the clutch to see if the clutch fork is moving. If it is not, then you have either a clutch linkage (from pedal to master cylinder) issue or an issue in the hydraulics. If the clutch fork is moving properly (Should move all the way forward and backward when the pedal is actuated) and it is not disengaging the clutch, the tranny will need to be pulled to determine what is going on and to fix it.
Idk if is normal or not but when the car is on if I push the shifter into first it does not let me engage it but if I hold the shifter against first gear the car roll a bit
