Default Help!

So I was pulling onto the interstate today, my motor was already warm and I decided to give it a little gas in 1st gear on the on ramp. I shifted to 2nd and then in 2nd I felt a kind of limit feel and then my car seemed to loose some power. Everything seems fine but I seem to be limited at around 3500 rpms in every gear and it kinda boggs out a little when I come to a stop. I stopped and checked the oil level and topped it off, but then my CEL came on. I have a 2003 with exhaust, intake, test pipe and emanage ecu tuned by giles. Please help!

Moving to S2000 Under The Hood.

You have to check that CEL and see what code you get. Did you had your gas tank re-filled just before this happened? Gas quality is not that great at some gas stations. It could be a misfire fault code on the CEL. If yes, perhaps some dirt particles have blocked the injectors. You could tap the injectors gently on the top as a temporary solution to unblock them, then refill the gas tank from another gas station just to be sure. Last but not least, you should clean the injectors and gas filter. How many miles you've got on the S?

I pulled the code, it's p1106, it says it's a barometric something and the possible cause is listed as failed ecm. I already disconnected the emanage and plugged up my factory ecu but still in limp mode. I did what energetic suggested but to no avail, does anyone know exactly what that code means? Is that a bad map sensor?

There is a separate barometric sensor inside the ECU. Unfortunately might have to replace the ECU to fix it.

Post in the want to buy section man, you can find one there. After you get one you will have to have your key re-programed to your new ecu too.
