I am looking to by a Carbon Fiber hood for my 04 S2000 but no one can tell me for sure that the hood is the same as the 00-03. Does anyone know for sure? Either have one yourself or know some one who does? Please help as I want to order this hood but want to make sure it will fit first.

By the way, Honda doesn't know for sure either way.

Just curious, do you know because you know someone who has it or........ There are many different changes on the 04 including a front bumper which I would think affected the hood as well. Just making sure before I get a hood shipped over here.

 

It's the same, the dimensions of the vehicle did not change. The bumper style has changed but the dimensions did not as well. As you can easily swap 00-03 bumpers onto 04+ s2000s and vice versa. Also there are already plenty of 04 owners who have gone to CF hoods.

 

This hood used to be in '00, now is on '04. No body pannels have changed for '04, just slight cosmetic changes on front and rear bumpers.
