Default Help! car wont start

On my way home from work i stopped by subway to grab a sandwich. when i try starting the car it didnt start. after about 10 or so tries at the engine start button it fired up. Its now sitting my garage still having the same problem. im going to take it to the dealership tomorrow but just wanted to get some ideas on what might be the problem.
Thanks

Is it cranking? This would have been nice to know.
If it is and it's just not starting up the engine, then I would suggest that your immobilizer is not recognizing the key, in which case it shuts down the fuel pump and you just crank all day long.
It's a new car. Get the dealer to fix this.

Thanks xviper for the fast response, but the only thing i hear is a "buzz" when i push the button. Do you think the dealership would say anything about my aftermarket alarm or system? it starts when i do push the car and poping the clutch. Thanks for the help.

sounds like your battery might be drained or your system puts too much load on it.

are your amps on all the time or just when you have the radio on?

I dont have a remote start, but i think i have a engine "kill" system. Doesnt all alarms have that? if your alarm is on, the motor doesnt turn or crack...thats if someone tries to start it?

i guess they all have it now. its been a while since ive bought an alarm.

if the starter kill is hooked up warranty might not cover it. the starting system was tampered with so they can just blame the problem on that. if it does turn out to be the starter it should be covered.
