I've found it takes about 750ml to do a full flush in the S2000. 500 ml is definitely not enough in my experience.

I did my brake fluid flush yesterday and it wasn't too bad. I think. I had a mitivac, but couldn't get it working properly so I ended up using it as a catch tank and just pushed the brake pedal. Pushing the brake pedal made the fluid come out more steadily then the hand pumping mitivac i had. Only thing is today the brakes feel really firm. Could it be too much brake fluid in the reservoir?

As long as the level is withing the high and low marks of the reservoir, it's fine. If you have too much, it'll ooze out when you put the cap on or when the reservoir gets hot. The level in the reservoir won't cause the brakes to feel firm. If anything, if it's too low, they will feel mushy.

I noticed that if my brake fluid level is at the max line, I tend to get a little bit of fluid build up on the ridge that surrounds the outside of the reservoir. After awhile, dirt and or dust collects on this ridge. If I fill the reservoir slightly below the max line, it wont leak.
This is something I have noticed on other S2K's

I noticed Hardtopguy is selling DOT4 ATE Super Blue Racing Brake Fluid. Is this better than the Honda DOT3 fluid? Should I buy it? The car is 3 years old, so I guess it's time to change the brake fluid. Should I attempt this myself, or is it better to let a mechanic do it? I don't want to mess up my brakes.
What about the clutch? Do I need to change the fluid in it?

In regards to your clutch fluid, look inside your resevoir. If you've never changed the fluid before, it probably looks black. It's not supposed to be that color. It should be a clear amber color. I think there's a DIY on it somewhere.
