Default Help: do these water outlets connect together

Hey Guys, I have a Right Hand Drive AP1 and im putting the engine in.. my simple question is does the smallish outlet from the inlet manifold connect up to the water valve/switch thing by the battery that goes into the fire wall? Remember my car is RHD and the battery is on the left of the car with the water valve Thanks!

Here is a picture to help!

On LHD car, that angled pipe has a hose on it, goes to an aluminum cross over pipe on the firewall, then across to the water valve on the right side of the car.

So yes its very possible that you can connect the two.

Here comes the "NOOBIE" Question then, where is the IACV and waht is the best way to clean it? I MUST SAY, I bought the car without an engine have a put a new (reconed) engine in it! the car has only been turned on and ive done my best to bleed the coolant system with it idling like that, I dont like running the car with a hunting idle that bad Thanks for your info guys!

First check to see if the big electrical plug for the IACV is even plugged in. Since you just did an engine swap and have been messing around in there, its possible you've just left this plug unplugged which would cause the up-down-up-down idle you are seeing. I accidentally left mine unplugged after cleaning it once and got the same result.
