If you've got a 06 DBW engine, you'll need to swap the cam sensors, valve cover, crank sensor, and crank sensor reluctor to get the car to start on a stock PCM. You'll also need the intake manifold with original throttle body.

When you do get it running you'll have air injection DTC's because the DBW cars don't have the air injection ports machined in the cylinder head.

Used old crank sensor and cam sensor, have old valve cover on there too.
Air injection DTC's?
Air injection is hooked up, and I'll leave the ducting off.
I want to remove the air injection system completely, but I've heard it throws the cel if there is no electrical load on the system.

If you still have a 06 and later cylinder head air injection isn't going to work no matter what. There are no ports for the air to go into the exhaust machined in the head.

You also need to verify the cams are installed correctly, it won't run if either camshaft is out of time 1 tooth.

Do the 06 engines use the same chopper plates for the cam/crank sensor pickups? Do these need to be carried over with the pre-06 sensors?

The plates/reluctors are different. Only the Exhaust cam has a sensor on it for DBW cars.
