Default Help with Glove Box...

I use my cup holder as a change holder. Unfortunately for me, some change spilled into the center console. I removed it and i could not see the change. The loose change is underneath the center glove box. Does anyone know how to take the center glove box off? thanx any input would be appreciated

unless you are really desperate for change just leave it. If I remember right it is a major PITA to remove the center glove box. I can check my helms manual later for you just to make sure.

haha no i dont need the change...its the fact that when i take a hard corner all of the change jingles around (very annoying). Actually sometimes they are a better indicator of max cornering than the s0-2s. But i really am starting to get annoyed with the change jingling around

Just spray some of that hardening insulation foam in there. That should keep the change from sliding around.

You really need a service manual to locate all the screws to yank the center glove box. I would not start this job without one. Just to give you an idea of the amout of work, here is the list of things to take out. center console, seats(more room), scuff plates, rear panels, rear side panels, Both panels under soft top, spare tire, and the rear console back panel. You might be able to fish out the change by removing just the back panels behind the seats. Good luck.
