where do i get this foam hardening insulation?

 

He was kidding, you know. He didn't mention that this foam also EXPANDS - not a good thing in your circumstance. Just imagine all those little cracks and crevices oozing with yellow hardened foam insulation. But if you must have it, go to a hardware store. It's sold as home crevice filler/insulator.

 

The center console is super easy to remove! It just snaps off with snapping type fasteners. I removed mine to add stuffing to my elbow rest, I must have bony elbows but the stock padding just wasn't enough! First grab in the back of the elbow rest on the sides and yank up firmly but carefully. Continue forward all the way to the front around the shifter. Remove all change, verify all wiring conections are still conected and snap it back.

 

He's already done this. He's trying to get at the area under the "glove box". You know, the part that's under where the trunk release button is?

 

There are two panels behind the seats. They are held together by 4 screws, which also hold the 4 hooks.

Remove one of the panel by
1. remove the 2 screws
2. pull the panel off

and this should give you room to look for your changes.
