Default Help got cel P2a00

I got the cel P2a00 O2 sensor primary. I ordered a new one. Can i just replace the old one and flash the ecu with flashpro and everything be ok? I read in the forum that i have to take it to the dealer so they can flash the ecu? Can the flashpro do the job to eliminate the cel with a new sensor? Will it be clip on affair for the sensor? Thanks

Yes, u can do just that. Had the same code pop up a while back. Make sure the new primary sensor u get has the green shrink wrap on the wiring. Thats the revised sensor. Your bad one should have a blue shrink wrap on it. I did and it worked fine.

interesting FYI;

Your join date is the same day I bought and picked up my s2000, dec. 6, '07.

I cleared the DTC code first in Flashpro then reflashed again, not sure if it was necessary but I did it anyway. I contemplated for a minute about getting a different sensor other than OEM but realized it wasnt worth it. The new part number is 36531-PZX-013. The sensor is basically a remove and replace.
