hmm didnt reset the ecu and the check engine light went on and it started idling funny, so i pulled it out. Gonna try resetting the ecu tomorrow...thanks again for your help. The wierd thing is, I had the vafc in for about 4 months and not one problem and all of a sudden check engine light, bad idle and hesitation (all three symptoms disappear after I take off the vafc) so I know it is the vafc.

 

If that is the case I would definatly make sure all your vafc connections are still good. Where is you vafc mounted??

 

i def think its the vafc connector...i zero'd out all the settings and i am still getting cel and bad idle...its mounted on the radio door...
