Default Help I hear noise comming from somewhere?

It could be me but I'm hearing a slight clunking noise when I disengage the clutch and gas a little especially on the first two gears. Is this normal? Or is something wearing out? Or is it just simply me?? Let me know if you have any ideas what this could be. Could it be my clutch? Rear differential? Rear hub? Is there a TSB for this that I can bring it upon honda?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it's a ratcheting sort of noise (almost similar to a motorcyle chain noise - when there's a little too much slack) that lasts for only a moment or two following your clutch being pushed in quickly, say in reverse or first (maybe second), it's normal.
I first noticed this noise when Honda replaced my transmission and thought it was a problem with the new transmission or clutch. After going through several S2000s at the dealership with the service manager (because he had never heard the noise before either and was concerned), we were able to get every one of them to make the noise. It was present in MYs '01-'04 (we checked an '01, '02, '04 and my car - an '03).

The only other possibility is that your T/O bearing/release fork may need a little grease.

thanks for the detailed input. But I figured the problem. I replaced my fuel pump and didn't bother putting the softtop tray back. What happend was that the softtop then was sitting lower than it should and the glass was rubbing against the spare wheel. I fixed it immediately before any damages could have happend.
