Yes. It did reset when you disconnected your battery (assuming you did this before/during/after your mods). The thing is, after you reconnect the battery and start it, you don't touch ANYTHING. No light pats on the throttle to hear your new intake, don't turn on the lights, don't turn on the AC or heat......nothing. The car needs to sit undisturbed until the fans kick on and off at least once. I know after every intake/exhaust mod I've done to mine, the first thing I did was bump the gas to see what my latest and greatest sounded like. Then, just after, I was like . The little kid in me takes over and kicks clear thinking outta the way. I have had to reset my ECU soooooo many times because of my inner child, its not funny. This may not fix your problem, but it can't hurt
