Help: Installing H&R Wheel Spacers? Nightmare!
ANyone here has managed to install any hubcentric spacers of any sort? Pictures here are my H&R 15mm Spacers

Last week me and my mechanic had a go at it... First we took off the wheels, took out the calipers and rotors. Now the thing is we cant get the damn stock studs out from the stock hub. There was simply no room for sliding these suckers out from behind. And it looks like the hub doesnt simply come off if we looses a couple of screws. Mechanic reckons there will be a need to take apart the entire assembly behind the wheel to remove the stock hub?
I always thought installing wheel spacers was a 5 minute affair. Any advise would be appreciated! Cheers!

If they're anything like the Spoon spacers, you shouldn't have to take the stock studs off. There are ten holes for this reason: the spacers go on the stock studs while the new studs go in the extra holes. When you put the wheel on and tighten the nuts, it compresses everything together.
The way yours are set up, you need to disassemble the hub only because you need to press your studs through the hub. I believe the Spoon spacers, much like H & R s 25mm+ spacers come as a single unit. Not seperate like yours. The studs must be in a locked position
Spoon spacers comes with separate studs.
However, 5 of the 10 holes are counter sunk to accept a set of lug nuts(provided) that are flush to the face of the spacer. Once they are tightened, they provide a secure connection. The second set of lugs then accept the wheel.
Provided that the stock studs fit flush to the wheel, this is a perfectly ok setup.
Did your spacer set come w/ extra nuts?
Of course, the EASIEST way to this problem is just press the old studs out and replace them w/ longer studs, so you can just use them to accept both spacer and wheel.
