HELP! J's strut bar and ETD install
Hi, tried searching the forum but got no clear answer for the install of this thingie...
So there is the stock flange where the fuse box connects to, does this flange has to be removed in order for the strut bar w/ ETD to be able to install? I only saw one person mentioning about the bending/removing of this flange, others that installed this did not mention anything about this. Or the bracket I got is bended? That's why there is interference with the flange?
The strut bar I got have a blue bracket, is this the newer version or the older version?? Thanks for the help!
The flange I'm talking about is the one close to the bottom left of the picture: (Image taken from fellow member s2kboy03, thanks!)

On some other picture the flange is no where to be seen:

From my novice eye, it appears that the bracket for the J's strut bar/ETD effectively replaces the stock bracket that supports the fuse box. It looks like that OEM bracket can be removed. Does the J's bracket not fit if the OEM bracket is left in place?
Not with the bracket that came with the strut bar...
