Help, looking for the D.I.Y. on header install

Default Help, looking for the D.I.Y. on header install

I did a search on header install, and did not have much luck. If someone can give me the link to....Removal of OEM exhaust manifold and install of(Comptech) header it will be most helpful Thank you

Hey Puddy

It's a real pain in the ass getting a toda header in from the top. If you have hoist access block the motor and pull the front motor mount. It will slide right in from underneath. Put the mount back on you're in business.

Great, still looks good
I have shortened it up some(about an inch)and did a little more fine tuning.
No more 2nd gear grind even at 8k shifts

Underneath is probably easier, but that one looks a bit less kinky than the toda so it might slide in from the top

Well the header is on and it looks great!!!
One hour to remove the OEM and just over an hour to put on the Comptech

I put a comptech header in my GSR. if the craftsmanship is even remotely similar, it is a top-notch piece.

I was sorry to have to put it in my car. it was so pretty.
