64, First year. The car is so ugly, it grows on you like a fungus. I love it! It was my first car, bought it before I could drive.
Not my car, but one like it. Just imagine more primer gray, that's my car

Sorry to be joining this discussion late -- and perhaps this is already addressed by the discussion above. I've got two issues to address:
First, I've got a mini air filter (breather) on the hose at the front of the valve cover (driver's side, pointing toward driver's left) that used to run (I think) to the intake manifold just before the throttle body. The guys who installed my turbo kit installed it for me. Oil drips through it every once in a while. I thought I'd buy a Jaz one-pint mini-breather to catch the oil:
Second, I've get oil sloshing over into the intake (same issue as you've been discussing). I thought I'd address that with a catch-can.
But now I'm wondering if it's possible to use one device for both purposes -- although I'm not sure how that would work. From what you guys have said, normally the PCV line runs air from the block to intake (to vent and burn off vapor). Because sometimes oil flows along with the vapor, you get oil sucked into the manifold and burnt. I'm unsure which direction the flow is for the front breather, but I'd imagine it must be the reverse (otherwise, why would I need a filter).
You can guys clue me in? Also, if two separate devices are needed, where did you buy the catch can? The Jaz device seems like it would work fine (and it's nice and small) for the front hose. But I'm not sure who makes and who sells the catch cans.
Quick clarification need...
I have mine set-up like #2, and I've been noticing a reall loud whine that is worse with acceleration. I looked at the engine and saw that the line from the can to the PCV was flat from the suction and whine was from the vacume sucking against a flat hose? But, isn't this expected? the air/vapour is pulled from the the crank side (PCV), passes through the can and then out to the intake.
Here's my set-up...
Hey Ten....I think your setup is proper because I had the catch can set up the way CUSCO describes. I blew my motor at 50K and when I was disassembling the intake manifold, there was a lot of grime in there and the intake ports of the head.
