So i know s2000's burn oil. My friend suggested i go for a heavier weight oil like 5w40 or 10w40. What do you guys recommend?

The cel says vtec failiure. and i have an apexi vafc2 controller, could that be related? thanks. any info helps

 

what kind of oil are you running currentley? what weight and waht brand? i was running royal purple and burned that alot. and switched to castrol gtx regualr 10w 30. i barely burn oil now like very little.

 

mobil 1 10w30. I think? Im running mobil 1 oem specs.

 

Also, when the CEL comes on it wont let me rev over 6k rpm
I need help.

 

Go to autozone and have them pull the CEL code. if you dont then this forum cant help you.

 

The CEL code is Vtec faliure. I already checked the code.

Don't use Mobil 1. Do stick with 10w30.
