I'm trying to remove all of my carpeting and hit a snag. Can anybody tell me how to remove the black plastic piece below the gas pedal? I've taken off the bolt on top and tried prying it out with no luck. It seems that there's another bolt under the plastic cap, but I'm struggling to remove the cap. Thanks.

dont quote me on this but theres another screw with a cap over it. i think the top screw is not covered so you took care of that one right. look underneath it and theres a cap that you need to pop off with a flat screwdriver and a 10mm nut in there.
