so im driving home from dennys at like 3 30 am this morning, and i hear something dragging. my heart stops and i die inside, i pull over and look, and it wasn't my exhaust thank god. I look on the drivers side, and i see this wire hanging down from the ground, and it goes up into my rear bumper. it looks like this:




it was connected up into my bumper into a little box...so i pulled it out, but it didnt require much effort. did i screw something up big? or did i pick something up while i was driving? brakes feel fine...but im worried...can anyone help please?

 

I think you picked up some road debris. Or ........if that little box in your bumper is ticking then you have activated the bomb.

 

Have you tried your trunk release? Can't remember where that cable runs (though I think it goes through the trunk, not under the car).

Most likely that's just road debris, though.

lol, it was a bomb! except using my skillz in demolition, i defused it. haha thanks though guys, appreciate it, i was paniced.
