Default help wth clutch install

Well I did a clutch change on my friends S2. We had one snag when putting in the tranny where the folk that connects to the clutch master cyclinder was facing the other way. Well I backed out the tranny, flipped the folk and got the tranny back in. Now that. Everthing is installed I've noticed two issues:

1) The rear wheels spin even in neutral. They don't speed up when there we gas it up.

2) Can't seem to get the clutch pedal back to the correct position.

Need help guys thank you.

Did you make sure the release fork is connected to the throwout bearing and it's pivot? Your clutch pedal is stuck to the floor correct?

Possibly bleed the clutch? That would be my guess for pedal height. Also, is it a stock or aftermarket clutch? That could possibly change the pedal height.

If there is no resistance on the rear wheels they will spin when in neutral. Normal.

I was hard for me to check for proper connection on the release fork. After backing out the tranny, I flipped the fork then slide the tranny back to the motor.
As fof the Clutch, the only time it gets stuck is when I'm trying to adjust the clutch when I'm bleeding the fluid

The clutch is OEM, the pressure plate is spoon but it looks just like OEM.

Have your buddy sit in the car and pump the clutch pedel while you are underneath the car watching the action of the slave cylinder and shift fork. If the fork is not in its pivot it can affect the feel and tension of the pedel. There is a lock on the pivot as well. Make sure that the fork is in the pivot and the lock is in the correct position. I had my fork on wrong and I had to pull the trans to correct it the other month.

You're right about the fork position it was off a bit, and the slave cylinder turned out to be bad. It was starting to leak, so my friend will need to replace it.

Thanks Dav You know why the tranny didn't go in the first time? The release fork was in backwards I had to back out the tranny and flip it, after that It slide right in place. We were pretty tired since we had installed everthing but the hood. It took us 2 hours do it. I think the next time we can get it done in 3-4 hours. Your electric torque gun helped out alot thanks

Next time for sure I'm getting air tools.
