Default hid turning off byitself...... urghh

my driver side hid keeps turning off by itself.
no, the bulb is fine, no pink or purple or any kind.

basically, when i turn it on, they come on as nothing is wrong. perfectly fine
and after about 2~3 MINUTES (not seconds, it actually stays on for a while) the driver side hid lowbeam just shuts off

once i turn the switch off and turn on again they come on again perfectly fine and just shut off again after 2-3 minutes

any ideas? this is my second ballast... do i have to get a new one again?

Bad connection? If you recently replaced a part you could have a lose connection that works itself out with vibrations and then falls back in when the vibrations stop. Just a thought...otherwise not sure.

i doubt its vibration
i parked my car in my garage with my engine off and tried out the lights. Its doing the same thing.

i was told that there may be water contact with the ballast. hopefully i don't have to get a new one and i can just dry it out
