High beam connector question
The connectors to the high beam on the backside of the headlights (ap1) have 3 slots and the light only has 2 pins sticking out the back. Is that normal?
Is there any preferred way to connect them? My left headlight is connected upside down compared to the right. But they are working.
so on one side the empty slot points upwards and on the other side the slot points downwards. There doesnt seem to be a position that the connector is forced to fit. So you can attach it in both ways.
Is this connection not sensitive to + and - when connecting so to speak? Can you attach the connector in either way? Or is there a reason why one of the sides is upside down connected compared to the other?
Can anyone share their knowledge? Thanks

The connectors with 3 slots are standard for all cars, they also fit bulbs that have low beam and high beam combined.
Our cars have bulbs with only high beam, they need only two slots of the connectors; + and -. Because it´s just a bulb, Polarity is irrelevant.
Maybe a pre owner found it easyer to work and fit the connector upside down.
