Default HKS Exhaust

Hey guys, I'm thinking about purchasing the in-muffler HKS silencers for the Hi-Power exhaust (the current version of the dual exhaust), but I own the Hiper exhaust (the older version of the dual exhaust).
1. My tips don't have any threading or holes and I want know if the silencers can be made to fit.
2. Also, does anyone know where I can get a good deal on a set?

Thanks a bunch!

J

I went out and measured my tips and the inner diameter appears to be about 107mm or about 3.5"s x 2

I have the Hi-Power HKS, but it doesn't have any holes for the silencers. It's pretty quiet and I like the sound also.

Interesting...how do the silencers stay in the can?

No, what i was getting at was that I have the new HKS, but it didn't come with silencers. But it is not as loud as other exhaust out there.

And what I'm getting at is that hks-usa.com carries silencers for your exhaust and I want to know if they will fit mine.

I would say if you could find one that has a OD that will fit in your Hiper, all you would have to do is drill one hole on the bottom and bolt it in. Thats how my JIC setup was. Shouldnt be hard to find one that fits in there.

107mm = ~4.2" FYI. If the OP really needs to use silencers it's pretty easy to test fit the silencer then drill a hole. They often sound farty even though they quiet down the exhaust.
