Default Hole in K&N intake

Hey guys! i just installed the K&N Aircharger on my 06 S2000.... and wow do i love it. Everything sounds just so great in VTEC. However, as you know, the 06 intake requires some drilling. After putting the grommet that k&n provides into the irregular hole that i drilled ( i didnt have the exact 5/8" inch bit, so i drilled about 6 1/10 inch holes together ), there is a little hole that is coming out of the grommet from the intake. I am thinking about using some sealant on the hole. Everything runs fine though. Anyone have any input on how bad this hole is? it is actually very very small, about hald a millimeter. How well will the sealant work? Any input will be appreciated thanks guy!

I can see sealant getting sucked in. I would recommend a piece of color-matched tape (or a similar color).
