he says 250, he says 240, they say 230, she says 220, you say 210, the honda tech says 150, ur mechanic says 180, i'm getting a headache.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it a bad thing to remove the spark plugs while the engine is hot with an aluminum head? The threads have the potential to warp IIRC.

I've done mine while the engine was cold and just paid attention to make sure they're close. 185 accross the boards for my s2000 while cold and I put down 200whp mustang dyno without spray.

It's possible to get decent power but low compression numbers depending on what is actually causing the low numbers. I'd definitely say there is an issue with the motor or how the test was done based on yours.

There's no problem with removing spark plugs from a hot motor. There IS a problem with overtorqueing them when they are installed. That's what damages threads, not removal when hot.
