Hello i have a questions for those that have change out their stock heat shield gasket and replace it with the hondata heat shield gasket.

How long did it take to do the job?

I was thinking i should take it in to Honda to do it if it don't take long.

Did you feel a big difference with the car power?

 

Personally, I have not done it but know a few who have.

I was told that it's a pain in the ass to do it. People usually put it on when their IM is off.

And no, you will not feel a big difference with the power.

It sucks balls, I think I cursed every bolt on the bottom of the manifold.

 

yea. You are half way to a HG change if you are doing this.

 

All this mod does is "Maintain" horsepower. It keeps the intake manifold from soaking up heat from the head.

So, basically on the last lap of a session at a track day, you'll have a better chance of making the same HP you made on the first lap.
