if they ever do come out with a ECU, i bet it'll get about +/- 2 HP like every other non FI mod.

did you just, like, skip over my post? i mean, it's not like it had anything to do with the co-founder of hondata saying they are NOT coming out with ANYTHING for the S2000.

maybe posting it again will be the charm.

Doug Macmillan (co-founder of Hondata) is standing next to me in my office as I type this:

UL - "Doug, planning on doing an S2000 ECU?"

Doug - "No"

UL - "Any timeframe on the RSX conversion?"

Doug - "No, there's a difference between wanting to do something and having the time and resources to do it in a cost effective manner. There is nothing in the pipeline at the moment. While we will continue to investigate options, please don't call us asking for solutions because we don't have one. The problem is that the S2000 ECU is the only one in Honda's range that is not programmable."

Why would you want one anyways? The AEM EMS does a perfectly fine job.

Because the older Hondata Stage systems, and "S" and "K" are easier to tune than the EMS.

They also retain stock troubleshooting.

If you replace three sensors on our motor with three sensors from the K series, you could run the k pro by hondata i was considering trying to do such a thing but the sensors that need replacing are a pretty penny and after all is said and done im getting an EMS and so should you! jk but really its to expensive and im tired of going through "testing" or dealing with issues that are more annoying then a crazy aunt.

the reason hondata is so great is cause any knowledgable car guy like some of the guys on the board could tune a hondata in a half a day no sweat unlike the EMS. thats not a 100% reason why its better but to many its quite an advantadge compared to being like many on the board who pay big dollars to fly some guy out to tune their EMS
