Default hood emblem

hello, ive searched countless threads and youtubes but cant seem to find the answer for this. maybe some one out there can help.
i want to remove my front hood emblem, ive seen the dental floss/ mono filament but on my 07 there seems to be part number 90190-SB2-000 4mm pushnut holding it on.
i guess my question is .....how do i remove the push nuts(2) holding it on the backside?
is there a special tool? seems like a high possibility for damage to the bumper and/or emblem
thanks

maybe slide in a credit card so not to damage paintwork and leveraging up with a suitable tool nut will pop off.

You're probably gonna have to remove the front bumper to fill in and refinish it because of the hole anyway...

I removed the rear trunk "H" emblem and replaced it with an OEM "S" (from the S2000 side markers) but decided against doing the front on the advice of the wife. You may want to pop in an S so as to not worry about a hole. I bought the S from eBay.

You have to either remove the front bumper to get at the pushnut, or devise a cunning way to get at it.

Or just break the tabs off like an idiot.

Your little S is upside down. The longer tail of the S goes on the bottom

Thanks. I think. That is going to drive me crazy enough to swap it. Maybe.
