My friend just purchased a my02 s2k and he's only had it for about 3 weeks. Just today it started to click loudly and it sounds like valve tap, so i suggested a valve adjustment, but then later on, the click got louder and now sometimes it will go away and sometimes it sounds so bad its like there is something metal in the motor getting thrown around.

checked oil level, its fine. no cel.

does it sound like just normal valve tap? it sounds worse to me

 

That sounds like a bent valve!!! i would check the small things first, remove and check all the spark plugs.

 

Yea it does sound like either a bent valve or a sticking valve
