Default Hose Connector?

So I had a huge coolant leak the other day and finally found this. Does anyone know what the part number or name for this little connector? I've been looking on majestic and other sites to try to find it... Also, does anyone know of this happening to anyone else?

looks like you can just use a barb connector to fix it temporarily. can you replace the 2 hoses with 1 hose?

Ya that's a good idea for now. I was asking myself the same questions about just using 1 hose. I haven't had any of them replaced before so I'm curious as to why it was like this to begin.

no idea, it looks like it goes from the head to the throttle body? if so, just do the throttle body bypass and it shouldn't leak again

There isnt one connector its 2 tubes. you remove that part when you install certain intakes.

seems like it was simply connected by a random piece of plastic by the previous owner. probably didnt have a hose long enough to connect it.

The OEM hard metal line that joined those two hoses has been removed. You need to buy one continuous piece of hose to replace the two hoses.

Hmmm.... Ya I understand the two tubes, but I'm the only owner of the car and I haven't done anything to that hose or had anything done to it either. Unless it was something that I replaced when I put in that Injen intake 8 years ago? Anyone else with a Injen intake have these same tubes?

Yes that Injen intake is probably the cause you got that plastic piece.
Now get a longer hose so you can bypass the throttle body and the intake air control valve, it will help your intake manifold run cooler.
