It depends how many way adjustable are your coilovers. Also the higher level you adjust it the stiffer It will be. I think usualy you would of to turn the knob to the right but that's just how my coilovers were on my Evo. I don't know much about what level to adjust for rear wheel drive. Especially when the S2k handles so well out of the box. haha
turn it fully one way and go for a ride. then turn it fully the other way and go for a ride again.
this will tell you which direction is to stiffen and which is to soften.
if you don't notice a difference then just leave it in the middle.
and for future reference, if you ever decide to remove your windshield washers and forget which ones go on which side....... it doesn't matter.

Bad advice, some coilovers don't like being adjusted all the way in one direction.
my tein flex's were only 16 way (i think), but it would turn almost 35 clicks left (way past soft).
OP, it's usually counter clockwise for soft, and clockwise for stiff.

spring rate is constant and you can do so much with the internal damper, most of them the extreme end are useless.
if you need it to have a high spring rate, get a new set of spring that work within the operational damper value, i think Tein listed their range on the site.
oh yeah, what type of coilover is it?

That would be your convertible top motor in the way. You'll have to figure a way to get in there (maybe use a socket wrench or something)
It's not 'bad' to be a different number, but if its really different it can make handling worse.
Front should be the same or close
Rear should be the same or close
Having front and rear different is fine. e.g I run 4 clicks front left, 5 clicks front right. 1 rear left, and 2 rear right. (p.s I'm right hand drive I found that setting to be best for my kind of twisty road driving)
