Default how to compress rear brake piston

I'm trying to install my new rotors and I can not get the rear brake piston to compress. Ive read that the rear brake piston compresses by turning it? Is that correct? How is this done?

yes,

I just used a pair of pliers and twisted them in. Kind of a pain in the butt...

try push it in a tad with you turn, it just needs to catch the first rotation and you are home free

I used a big screw driver/pry bar turning clock-wise while pushing in. It may be hard to turn at first but become easier as you go, remember your pushing fluid as well. You may want to remove some fluid from the reservoir (use a turkey baster/brake vac.) so it does not spill everywhere.

You can buy (for about $5-10) a generic "rear disk brake tool" at any auto parts store.

Looks like this.
