how do u turn off the maintance required light?

Turn your car completely off. Locate the trip button and hold it down.

Put car in the ignition on position and dont move until light resets.

The same way I set the clock on the VCR.........with a little piece of strategically placed electrical tape.

in the manual it dose not say how to turn it off and i tryed holding the trip butten but it dont work
