Default How Do You Reset The Srs Light?

how do you reset the srs light for the airbag system? also, what is the proper way to install the srs steering wheel properly?

You need to use a special tool (or fabricatre a jumper) and insert it into the SRS service port in a specific sequence combined with ignition switch activation and deactivation. I don't remember the specific sequence, but do a search as this has been addressed before.

The light won't reset until you have eliminated all faults in the system.

I don't know about the latter in detail, but you do have to make sure the clock spring is wound correctly.

It's a strip (or strips) of metal that goes around the central shaft of the steering column that permits the transfer of electrical current that enables your horn, cruise and other stuff that is steering wheel mounted to continue working as the wheel is turned.
