How do you reset the Steering EPS?
I don't remember if i noticed this but... When you turn the key to II. These lights should stay on: Brake, Battery, and Oil. Directly on the center is the EPS light. I am not sure if that was on before when i first got my car. Is that normally there to stay on when you turn the key? Does this mean that i have to reset that light to make it go away? My car rides normal, i have no problem with alignment. I posted this question because I wanted to know how to reset the EPS to make sure that EPS light was suppose to be there. Thanks for your replies.
If the steering wheel is off center, you can bet your ass that one wheel on the car is out of alignment. Even a rear wheel a fraction off on toe can throw the steering wheel of center. A centerted steering wheel should remain proportional to a centered rack, and re-splining is not the best fix. Equal adjusting of the threaded tie rod adjusters (provided the 4 wheels are in spec) is the way to go.

Is it possible that my alignment is too strait ahead ( not enough toe-in ) cause when i am going in a straight line the car wants to go a little on the left and the second after it wants to go on the right !
my car does the same as t.c. is saying. especially when i am almost to a stop. i notice it more on certain roads but it always does it. and now that i have got new wheels and tires it does it so bad i can barely keep the wheel and car straight when braking. does any one know why.
It sounds to me like you lowered your car, and didn't get it aligned after. Lowering the car increases the camber and changes the toe and caster. I don't know whether the toe or caster will change +/-, but I think toe out would make it more "twitchy", especially at the rear.
