Default how does one make a kill switch?

well, i have this thread going in S2000 talk, but figured you guys might be able to give me more specifics... http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.p...threadid=186931

how does one make a kill switch?

when i get my car back (stolen 3 weeks ago), i would like to add a kill switch. how does one with average car tuning/mechanical skills do this? or is this something only a shop can handle? i mean, are there any handbooks out there with specific directions?

**this thread is not to discuss whether kill switches are effective, but how one can get the job done (whether DYI or with help from a shop).

thanks

I had one of these installed in my old '89 Civic Si hatch. I paid a shop $40 for the installation, and after watching what they did, realized it was pretty easy. It is important to do it correctly so as not to damage important electronic elements of the car, so I would also be interested in guidelines on doing this in the S 2000. From what I can remember, the technician wired the switch to disable the fuel pump using the existing fuel pump-disable circuit (for safety in the event of an accident) in the car.
