Default How to fix this crack?

Bought the car like this. Missed this while inspecting it.

Not a big deal to me, as you can't see this unless you stick your head down there, but when the A/C is on, it drips water from this hole/crack...

Not sure if the part is easily replaced, or if I can just stick some black RTV in it to seal the hole, or if there are better options.

Looking for advice! Thanks in advance!

Any spare pieces of black plastic around? If so, match a piece up and carefully melt it on to the area with a soldering iron. Might be able to do it without an extra piece of plastic but hard to tell how deep it is from a photo.

find an epoxy that is compatible with that type of plastic. I believe most of the plastic parts are polypropylene, which many epoxies will not adhere to. If you can remove the part, there will be a plastic code on it probably "PP"

Thanks for the replies!!!

I'm not sure how easy it would be to remove. I think you're right about it being polypropylene though. It feels like the same plastic.

I'll swing by advanced auto parts tonight, and look for some plastic epoxy.

I have a shit ton of bondo left over from other projects, but it's bright orange :\

This will fix the leak

I've used it on all sorts of materials and fixed them all with no leaks.
