correction, thinner speakers AND lighter driveshafts are pointless.

Forgot to add.. Lightweight pulleys, lightened flywheel might help out on the total..

Obviously, every pound saved is going to provide benefit. My point was that A) the driveshaft is high hanging fruit (low bang for the buck), and B) your numbers weren't supportive of the benefit.

Well funded racing teams will spend every dollar trying to get every 0.0001 seconds of benefit. I wouldn't be surprised if they buy carbon fiber butt plugs.

u dont get any lighter than stock oem speakers unless u remove them and get tweeters but than its not really much of a speaker

CF driveshaft are expensive for what you get. should just go get a scrapper and remove all the dead weight

I know of an S that is below 2000 lbs. Of course it has tons of sheet metal removed and no windshield

RsR drift s2000 was around 2200 lbs i believe

If you have the means, then just replace every panel that can be replace with real carbon fiber. The titanium exhaust, and aluminum flywheel are always a great solution for the rest.
