The NOVI 2000 is about 1.5 times the size of the NOVI 1000.

Hmm, thanks for the pic Wes.

I wonder if Novi-2000 would clear the hood line...
Anyway the puny Comptech's bracket probably can't even hold the weight of the Novi-2000.

But then, I would like to wait and hear back from Keith and possibly visit him tonight to check just what blower he has in his car.

I just looked at mine and it's a 1000. I was at Comptech and saw 6 of them on the bench - all 1000's. I'm sure many here would love to see a picture of your install. Please snap one and post it. You will get lots of views.

sorry, got no digital camera.....

randy is thinking he needs to visit when i get back from vacation next week just to make sure i am not delusional. he is always
posting things so next time i talk to him will ask that he bring his.

but it looks like all the others, honest..... airbox->hose->blower->hose->throttle body. has the fuel pump and fpr and says comptech on the mounting bracket.

it is only off by 1 digit.

Very interesting, I will be talking with Comptech in the morning (totally different issue) and will ask what they are shipping. I and everyone else that I know has the Novi1000.

Possibly the person Kam bought it from upgraded to the 2000 through Paxton. None the less, I will post my findings tomorrow.

I believe I saw the Novi 1000 that scs2000 had...I thought that was big enough. The Novi 2000, WOW.

I talked to Comptech and they said they have never shipped out a NOVI2000...just 1000s. I am curious to see some dyno numbers with 2000 and how much boost you are able to run.

ok all...

randy and i finally got nose to nose with hoods open, while my unit definitely says novi-2000, it looks to be the same size as his novi-1000.

wes posted pictures above and said the 2000 is 1.5 times bigger, mine is definitely not that much larger than randy's.

paxton's web site says that there is 1" diff for external scroll diameter (??), 1" front to back thickness, internal intake diameter's are .75 and .6 larger, but we could not check that, and external discharges are the same.

given these smaller differences, i.e. not 1.5 time size, it could still go either way. we had no tape measure but i used a strap across the top of the intake connector to outside edges and it was almost identical for each unit.

we are almost at the point that we think the unit was made on april 1st and some paxton employee stuck on the wrong ID plate. i am going to give paxton a call on monday with the ID/Serial number and see if they can figure it out.

randy took pictures and is going to post them later.

to make my day worse , while we were going over things, we noticed that both of my brackets were cracked.....
