Hey guys so as far as I know the air pump comes on when the car is cold. I feel like my air pump comes on more than it should. I'll come to a stop and it will just come on and shut off, the come back and and off again and on again. I then get a cel. Incorrect flow...

 

Not normal, mine started doing that also and I had to replace it. Mine would even turn on sometime with the car completely off.

Just curious, but have you messed with the intake at all lately? I hear that if you get the 2 vacuum hoses going to the sensor thats mounted to the airbox mixed up, it can throw that code. It still sounds like you will probably have to replace the pump though.

 

That CEL is from the air pump malfunctioning.

 

Damn I just changed the air pump, my old one used to do the same thing. I tested it on my friends s2k and it worked fine. Maybe a vacuum hose like is leaking? Oh also one of the hoses on the air pump leads to this round looking thing next to the valve cover, kinda looks like an egr valve. Well that thing is dented kind of bad. U think this is contributing to the problem?

 

I have no input on your problem, but I gotta ask: How did that part, way in the back of the engine bay, get dented kinda bad?
