I like to use a hockey puck on the jack's pad (3 inch diameter pad). This helps keep the jack from scratching or denting the frame.

The front jackstands are on the wrong portion.

There are 2 sets of tabs up front. The ones that are closer to the rear of the car are the correct ones. You have the jack stands on the front most set of tabs. They're not specified as lifting points.

Hmm. Those jack stand points are completely different from what's listed everywhere else.

That's one thing that new owners and dealerships may not understand. If you put a jackstand on the wrong set of tabs you will easily damage them. Before you do anything make sure that you feel for a 1-2mm thick metal tab to ensure that you have the right jacking point.

I have a Whiteline front X brace that blocks the front-center jack point. Suggestions on how to properly lift the front end?

Take the brace off, I don't know any other way to get around that. You don't want to put the floor jack on the frame or anything.

Very nice video, but make sure you put the jack stands on the correct front tabs!
