how to 'read' spark plugs?
There has been much talk about sparkplugs over the past few months.
I was wondering how you guys 'read' sparkplugs. Some expamples are a blackend head, wider gap, black rings, white residue, etc. What do they all mean? Pro's please chime in! I think a comprehensive thread would be a great resource for us 'sparkplug illiterate' people out there

ill add xV's quote from the DIY:
"The white ceramic part should not be showing brown from being too hot. The tip should be a brownish rough texture as this car runs a bit rich. If it were whitish, you may be running lean. If it is oil covered, you are getting oil into your cylinder (bad rings or valve seals maybe)."
anything else would be awesome
